Predict Interview Questions #1

Feeling unprepared every time you step into a job interview? Do you wish you could predict what your interviewer is going to ask? If so, then you're in luck! In this blog, I'm going to share a game-changing technique that will ensure you never feel caught off guard again.

The simple trick is Using the "WH" words like "what," "when," "where," and "how" in front of every job description listed in the job posting. Let me explain how it works.

In the above job description it says "Develops monthly forecast of sales, margin, and inventory plans." Now, ask yourself the following questions:

  1. What tools and techniques do I use to develop monthly forecasts?

  2. When have I demonstrated these skills in the past?

  3. Where have I applied forecasting or inventory planning skills before?

  4. How have I used my skills in the past?

By asking yourself these questions, you'll be able to come up with specific examples of times when you've demonstrated the skills and responsibilities listed in the job description. This will not only help you prepare for potential interview questions but also enable you to answer them confidently and effectively.

But the trick doesn't stop there. You can take it a step further by considering additional questions such as:

  • What was the impact of your forecasting efforts?

  • Where do you typically gather the data needed to develop forecasts?

By incorporating these questions into your preparation process, you'll be able to anticipate a wide range of interview questions and feel more prepared on the day of your interview.

So, the next time you're gearing up for a job interview, don't forget to use the words "what," "when," "where," and "how" in front of every job description. It's a simple yet powerful technique that can help you master the art of job interviews and land your dream job.
